At least 277 people died in these days of fighting, which, according to the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, are the most violent since 2020.

Iran accused Israel and the United States of being behind these new attacks, while Russia condemned the actions and described them as attack against sovereignty Syria.

The spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ismail Baghaei, indicated that the offensive by insurgent groups within the de-escalation zones in Aleppo and Idlib represents a serious violation of the agreements of the Astana processwith which the ceasefire was achieved.
