Brantford Knights of Columbus set New Record for Charity Event

The Help a Child Smile Foundation has proudly received a donation of $2070, thanks to the Knights of Columbus in Brantford.

The Knights raised the money through their monthly charity breakfast on November 3rd in the Homedale community, making it the most money the fundraising event has ever raised.

“We just can’t thank The Knights enough…they are always there to help in any way they can when charities such as ours, need a venue for their fund-raising efforts.”

The main goal for donations received by the foundations is to provide fun opportunities for a child going through cancer treatment and their families. One of the group’s first successes was sending a child to Canada’s Wonderland for a day.

“The charities in our community are so fortunate that The Knights is here to help us all.”
