Brantford Musician Donates Music for Change and Equality

BRANTFORD – A local musician has been moved to action by recent Black Lives Matter protests and uprisings.

Following the death of George Floyd, a black man killed while being arrested by a white police officer in the U.S., and the resulting protests, Chris Strei felt he needed to do something through Artists for Change.

Strei is contributing 100 percent of his cut of royalties from a new song to be released, to the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).

Strei is currently running a pre-save campaign for Spotify users. Pre-saving the song to a library will increase the opportunity to receive it on official Spotify playlists, and increase donations to the NAACP through the royalties.

Anyone wishing to obtain Strei’s music and donate to the cause can visit for further information.
