BRANTFORD– The number of cases of COVID-19 in Brantford and Brant County remains unchanged at 103 including 3 deaths and 93 recoveries.
There have been promising signs that case growth is slowing in Ontario, however the recent numbers show new cases are not consistently declining in the province.
The number of virus-related deaths in the province also jumped to 43 on Tuesday, up from just 15 on Monday. The province is reporting a total of 1,962 deaths.
Canada’s Chief Public Health Officer says Canadians should wear a mask as an “added layer of protection” whenever physical distancing is not possible. Dr. Theresa Tam provided the updated advice during her daily news conference in Ottawa Wednesday.
