BRANT – The Brant County Health Unit reported five new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday, including one at Onondaga Brant Public School. There are now 15 active cases in Brantford and Brant County, and all patients are recovering at home.
The identity of the individual confirmed with a case of COVID-19 in the Grand Erie District School system. will not be disclosed for privacy reasons. The health unit says the individual is self-isolating for 14 days, with family members residing in the same household.
Brantford City Council has extended the city’s Mandatory Face Coverings By-law for the next two months. Council voted in favor of extending the current by-law that initially went into effect on July 17th.
