Funding Provided to Local Indigenous Arts and Tourism

BRANT – The tourism and culture sectors with Six Nations of the Grand River is receiving a boost from the provincial government.


The Minister of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture, Lisa MacLeod, along with Brantford-Brant MPP Will Bouma, highlighted more than $279,000 in funding to support local indigenous arts and tourism.

The funding announcement took place Thursday morning at Her Majesty’s Royal Chapel of the Mohawks, a department of Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation.
