BRANT COUNTY – Brant County OPP is praising the actions of a kind stranger who located a young child running down the road in pajamas Thursday morning.
OPP say they responded to a 9-1-1 call to a residence in Paris just before 9AM, where a good Samaritan was caring for the 2-year-old boy discovered on the roadway. The police were contacted after attempts to locate the child’s parents were unsuccessful.
Officers were able to locate and reunite the little boy with his family and contacted Brant Family and Children’s Services
“The County of Brant OPP would like to thank the Good Samaritan that assisted this young boy and immediately contacted police. The County of Brant has an incredible sense of community. Over the last few weeks, we have seen great examples of our community looking out for each other and this is another exemplary illustration of these community values. Thank you for caring and thank you for acting.”Inspector Lisa Anderson, Detachment Commander, County of Brant OPP
