Charges have been laid against a 19-year-old Brant County man and a 28-year-old Mississauga man following a violent robbery that occurred late last month on Whitlaw Way in Paris.
Brant County OPP says they responded to a violent robbery call about 2:40 AM on May 29th on Whitlaw Way in Paris. Two suspects were involved with an altercation with a victim at the address where a cell phone and other items were taken before they fled in a vehicle. Both suspects were arrested with the assistance of Peel Regional Police.
19 year old, Tyler Campbell-Varley from Brant County has been charged with theft, robbery, possession of property obtained by crime, assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, imitation firearm use while committing an offense, possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose, and possession of cocaine.
Police have also charged 28-year-old Kailar Mellish from Mississauga with robbery, assault causing bodily harm, failure to comply with recognizance, possession of property obtained by crime, and possession of cocaine.
Both suspects will appear in a Brantford court at a later date to answer to the charges.
