New Information and Video Released – Brantford Double Homicide

New information has been released in Brantford’s third and fourth murder of the year.

Police Chief, Geoff Nelson, says the victims of the double homicide, Larry Reynolds and Lynn VanEvery were husband and wife and did reside at the residence, however there were other individuals in the residence at the time of the incident that was not injured. Nelson adds,

I will not be disclosing the number of people or their identities.

Nelson says, they are currently looking for the identity of a suspect seen fleeing the seen. “The only description I have at this time is of one suspect, male, wearing all black, with a balaclava covering his face”, says Nelson.

Two vehicles have been identified as being in the area at the time of the incident. They are described as a black 4-door Chrysler 300 with shiny chrome, which was found on Rowenwood Avenue. They are also searching for dark grey or black vehicle for which the make and model are still being investigated.

On Thursday at approximately 7:55AM, Brantford Police Service responded, to a call regarding a shooting at an address on Park Road South where they located the residents suffering from gunshot wounds.

At this point in the investigation it is still unknown how many people were involved in this incident. It is not believed to be a random act of violence but the investigation is still ongoing to determine the reason behind the targeted attack.
