The second annual Paris Drinks Fest welcomed approximately 3000 people to Lions Park in Paris this past weekend. The event features local breweries, wineries, cideries and food vendors, along with entertainment on stage.
A new local brewery proved to be a popular stop for those in attendance. The Paris Beer Company made its debut to the local audience. Their products have been 5 years in the making and are created with their own locally grown hops. Co-owner, Ken Edgar, says there are five partners involved in the company and is a family endeavor, as their children also work alongside them.
“We’re just kinda overwhelmed with all the beautiful people that came to visit us here. Everyone seems to really like what we’re pouring and they really like our vibe.”Ken Edgar, Co-owner, The Paris Beer Company
The Paris Beer Company expects their brick and mortar location to open at Wincey Mills in Paris by the end of this year.
