Provincial Help for Brantford Housing

The provincial government is investing almost three million dollars to help combat Brantford’s homeless and lack of affordable housing issues. The Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, Steve Clark, was in Brantford’s Eagle Place this morning to announce the investment towards the city’s new affordable housing project on Marlene Avenue.

The project will see 30 new, fully accessible studio apartments and will also include space for supportive programming. The project is set to open April of 2020.

“The province is dedicated to increasing housing supplies through a program they call More Homes, More Choice. It’s part of the government’s more than one-billion-dollar commitment to sustain, repair and grow Ontario housing and to help homelessness”.
