Search for Suspect in Brantford Pharmacy Robbery

BRANTFORD: Brantford Police are searching for a suspect following the robbery of a pharmacy in the area of Colborne and Dalhousie Streets late Thursday afternoon.

Police say the man entered the pharmacy with his face concealed and hid behind the pharmacy counter. The suspect was armed with what appeared to be a pellet rifle and demanded drugs from the staff. The suspect took an unknown amount of Hydromorphone tablets and several Fentanyl patches.

After a brief confrontation with a customer, the man fled on a red or maroon coloured mountain bike.

Neither the customer or pharmacy staff were harmed during the incident.

Police are now searching for a white male, approximately 5’8” with an average build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black jacket, black hoodie, blue jeans a green baseball hat and carrying a red hiking style backpack with white stripes and silver straps.
