Two Additional Suspects Charged in Double-Homicide

BRANTFORD – The OPP and Brantford Police have arrested two additional men connected with the double-homicide of Dorothy VanEvery, 62, and Larry Reynolds, 64, last summer.


VanEvery and Reynolds were found deceased in their home on Park Road South on July 18, 2019.

In a news conference Wednesday, police announced Nathan Howes, 30, of Brantford was arrested on Monday, September 21st, and Malik Mbuyi, 19, of Toronto was arrested on Tuesday, September 22nd. Both men are charged with two counts of First-Degree Murder.

Earlier this year, Kareem Zedan, 22, of Pickering, was arrested in Thunder Bay and also charged with two counts of First-Degree Murder in connection to the case.
