Woodland Cultural Centre Begins New Fundraising Campaigns to Continue Important Projects

The Woodland Cultural Centre had a drop in donations of 83 percent over the months of April and May this year, in addition to the cancellation of fundraising and community events due to the COVID-19 pandemic.


Carley Gallant-Jenkins, with the Woodland Cultural Centre says, despite challenges, they are now shifting to create new opportunities to raise funds. The organization is looking to complete projects such as Save the Evidence Restoration Project and continue work with the Mohawk Institute Residential School Survivors.
